Early Christian Basilica,Basilica in the East Gymnasium
A church was built over the Hellenistic city wall to the east of the lecture hall in the late 4th or 5th century.
Then it was converted into a three-aisled basilica with narthex and arcades. Most of the floor surface was covered with decorative mosaics. The church was abandoned after the fire in 7C AD.
